August 16, 2010 - The 9th Circuit reinstates the stay on the Prop 8 ruling pending appeal. The case has been expidited and the hearing will take place December 6th.
August 12, 2010 - Judge Walker lifts the stay on the Prop 8 ruling. Same sex couples will be able to marry August 18th unless the 9th Circuit Court of Appeals or the Supreme Court reinstate the stay.
August 6, 2010 - Cynthia Powell speaks on the use of Temporary Restraining Orders in Family Law cases at the South Bay Bar Association's Family Law Brown Bag Program.
August 4, 2010 - Proposition 8 ruled unconstitutional by a Federal Judge Walker. The ruling is stayed pending appeal.
